How Our Story Began

Our story stretches back to the late 1970s, when Carey Excavating began serving the region and later evolved into Carey Logging, a forest products business that became a familiar name across the area. As the industry changed, we stayed flexible and focused on how we could continue serving our neighbors.

In 2018, we made a pivotal move by purchasing Sodergren Septic Service and expanding into septic pumping and maintenance. That decision allowed us to bring together our excavation background with essential exterior system services for homes, businesses, and municipalities. Today, Carey Septic, Sewer, & Excavating offers a wide range of septic, sewer, excavation, site work, and snow removal services, all backed by the same determination, resilience, and Yooper work ethic that has carried us through every season.
